When you shut down your Windows XP-based computer, your computer may restart instead of shutting down, and you may see a blue screen for just a moment before the computer restarts.

TRICK 2
This is a nice little tweak to get 20% of bandwidth back.Microsoft reserve 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes (suspect for updates and interrogating your machine etc..).

* Click Start–>Run–>type “gpedit.msc” without the ” This opens the group policy editor. Then go to

Local Computer Policy–>Computer Configuration–>Administrative Templates–>
Network–>QOS Packet Scheduler–>Limit Reservable Bandwidth
* Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will
say it is not configured, but the truth is under the
‘Explain’ tab :

“By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to
20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you
can use this setting to override the default.”
* So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then
set it to ZERO.

This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather
than the default 20%.

do this two changes your internet speed will be increased for sure

Speed up boosting by disabling unused ports

You may have tried many tweaks like modifying windowsXP start-up applications, prefetches, unload DLLs method, etc. And yes those methods do work for me.I have just accidentally found out another way to give you an extra boost in windowsXP's boot performance.

How to Remove Windows XP's Messenger ?

How to Remove Windows XP's Messenger ?
Theoretically, you can get rid of it (as well as a few other things). Windows 2000 power users should already be familiar with this tweak.
Fire up the Windows Explorer and navigate your way to the %SYSTEMROOT% \ INF folder. What the heck is that thingy with the percentage signs? It's a variable. For most people, %SYSTEMROOT% is
C:\Windows. For others, it may be
E:\WinXP. Get it? Okay, on with the hack!
In the INF folder, open sysoc.inf (but not before making a BACKUP copy first). Before your eyes glaze over, look for the line containing "msmsgs" in it. Near the end of that particular line, you'll notice that the word "hide" is not so hidden. Go ahead and delete "hide" (so that the flanking commas are left sitting next to one another). Save the file and close it.
Now, open the Add and Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel. Click the Add / Remove Windows Components icon. You should see "Windows Messenger" in that list. Remove the checkmark from its box, and you should be set.
NOTE: there are other hidden system components in that sysoc.inf file, too. Remove "hide" and the subsequent programs at your own risk.

How to speed up MENU display

How to speed up MENU displayWhen using the start menu the you will notice a delay between different tiers of the menu hierarchy. For the fastest computer experience possible I recommend changing this value to zero. This will allow the different tiers to appear instantly. Start Regedit(Go to run and type "regedit" and press return ). Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\DesktopSelect MenuShowDelay from the list on the right.
Right on it and select Modify.
Change the value to 0.

So you need to disable access update to stop your computer from doing this. Follow these steps to speed up folder access by disable access update on your computer.

RAVMON.EXE,MDM.EXE,SVCHOST.EXE Hidden files options not working (solution)
First Stopping the virus: u need to check the task manager to see if there is a (SVCHOST.EXE) running under the current logged in username and try to terminate it.
Note: After u terminate the virus try not to double click(ala cheste virus malli activate avtundi) on any of you computer driver coz this
action will start the virus allover again, when u need to access any of ur drivers (Hard

Third Deleting the virus: ________________________________________ The easiest part, all u have to do is to delete the following files from your computer ( don't
forget how u should open the drivers or u will have to do it from the start )
1.C:\windwos\SVCHOST.EXE 2.C:\windwos\SVCHOST.inf or ini (probably they will be together side by side) 3.C:\RAVMON.EXE 4.C:\Autorun.inf Then check the rest of the hard drivers you have on your computer ( D, E, or whatever) for
the files Number (3 and 4)
Restart your computer and run XoftspySE latest Version (4.31.232) u can download it from the

The Computer Continuously Restsart

http://www.alexnolan.net/articles/systemproperties.jpg
When you start your computer, the Microsoft Windows XP start up screen appears, and then the computer restarts. The Windows XP logon screen does not appear. This error can occur if the Kernel32.dll file is missing or damaged.http://www.alexnolan.net/articles/startup.jpg
To resolve this issue, use the Windows Recovery Console to extract a new copy of the Kernel32.dll file from the original Windows XP compact disc (CD). To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start the Recovery Console. If you do not have the Recovery Console installed, start it from the Windows XP compact disc (CD). To do this, follow these steps:

a. Insert the Windows XP CD and restart the computer. If prompted, select any options required to boot from the CD.

b. When the text-based part of Setup begins, follow the prompts; choose the repair or recover option by pressing R.

c. If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot system, choose the installation that you need to access from the recovery console.

d. When prompted, type the Administrator password.

2. At the command prompt, type "cd system32" (without the quotation marks), and then press ENTER.

3. Type "ren kernel32.dll kernel32.old" (without the quotation marks), and then press ENTER.

4. Type "map" (without the quotation marks), and then press ENTER.

5. Note the drive letter assigned to the CD-ROM drive that contains the Windows XP CD. It is displayed in a format similar to the following: D: \Device\CdRom0

6. Type "expand \i386\kernel32.dl_" (without the quotation marks) (where is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive that contains the Windows XP CD), and then press ENTER. For example:

Expand d:\i386\kernel32.dl_

Note the underscore character after the "L" in Kernel32.dl_

The following message appears: Kernel32.dll, 1 file(s) expanded.

7. Type "exit" (without the quotation marks). The computer restarts.

8. Remove the Windows XP CD and start the computer normally.

What To Do When Windows Password Forgotten or Hacked !!!

What To Do When Windows Password Forgotten or Hacked !!!

How to Hack/Reset Windows Administrator Password:-
If your a Computer Administrator and your Admin Password is Hacked by one of your Users or If you Forgot Password, then there is small trick to reset your Admin Password , However this trick also works to change Non-Administrator Accounts

NOTE:- This Trick given for Education Purpose Only , Don't Misuse this trick

simple way to reset Non-Administrator and Administrator account passwords:-

step-by-step instruction to accomplish this task:-

1. Open the command prompt (Start->Run->type cmd->Enter)
2. Now type net user and hit Enter
3. Now the system will show you a list of user accounts on the computer. Say for example you need to reset the password of the account by name UandiStar, then do as follows
4. Type net user UandiStar<space>password and hit Enter. Now the system will ask you to enter the new password for the account. That’s it. Now you’ve successfully reset the password for John without knowing his old password.
!!!!! This Trick May/May not works for Win7 but works Sure in all Other Version of Windows!!!!
I am giving Another Trick which works Sure to reset Windows administrator password (for Win 2000, XP, Vista and Win 7)

Here is an excellent hack using which you can reset the password or make the password empty (remove the password) so that you can gain administrator access to the computer. You can do this with a small tool called  Offline NT Password & Registry Editor. This utility works offline, that means you need to shut down your computer and boot off your using a floppy disk, CD or USB device (such as pen drive). The tool has the following features.
  • You do not need to know the old password to set a new one
  • Will detect and offer to unlock locked or disabled out user accounts!
  • There is also a registry editor and other registry utilities that works under linux/unix, and can be used for other things than password editing.
So in this way you can reset the password of any Windows account at times when you forget it so that you need not re-install your OS for any reason. I hope this helps.
